30 hours old baby contacts coronavirus.

30 hours after birth, a chinese newborn has been diagnosed with the new coronavirus infection. The youngest victim recorded so far. 

The baby was born 2 February in Wuhan, the ground zero of the virus.  The mother had tested positive to the virus prior to giving birth. The route of transmission to baby still remains unclear.

State media stated that the baby, who weighed 3.25kg at birth (7lbs 2oz), was now in a stable condition and under observation.

The virus has so far claimed 564 lives. All but one was in China.
